Artist Statement

Ideas I am exploring with my art:

• • Mechanical performance of theoretical concepts in philosophy, psychology, religion.
  • Contrast and compare high and low technologies – Human technology (3d-printing and 3d modeling) and the technology of nature.
  • Use of found objects – Things you might collect while out walking.
  • Customisable artwork – The artwork is complete with the addition of some found object. The artwork is designed to accommodate variations of a certain type of found object.
  • The artwork as display device/container for found objects.
  • Pan-psychism – In philosophy, panpsychism is the view that consciousness, mind or soul (psyche) is a universal and primordial feature of all things. Panpsychists see themselves as minds in a world of mind.
